Theoretical Subjects - Client Psychology
Client Psychology is about understanding the people you work with - not just their skin, but also their feelings, behaviour and needs. In this subject you learn how to build trust, read body language and communicate with empathy, so your treatments and recommendations always take the individual client as their starting point.
What will you learn?
You gain insight into:
- Psychological needs and motivation
- Different client types and behaviour patterns
- Body language and active listening
- Building trust and professional relationships
- Handling insecure or dissatisfied clients
- Empathy and situational awareness in the clinic environment
You learn to adapt your communication and behaviour so the client feels seen, heard and safe - regardless of personality or life situation.
Why is it important?
The cosmetology profession is very much about relationships. When you understand the client’s underlying wishes and feelings, you can create an experience that goes beyond the surface. It is often the human connection that makes the difference - and that keeps the client coming back.
Teaching format
The teaching consists of lectures, dialogue and practical exercises. You work with cases, role-play and reflection to strengthen your ability to read and meet people professionally and respectfully. The subject gives you tools to handle everything from the first meeting to loyal client relationships.
